
Dr. Laura Ward
Dr. Laura Ward earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude and received honors in operative and restorative dentistry. During her time at Tufts, she trained across multiple specialties including Pediatrics, Endodontics, Periodontology, Oral surgery, and more, including a focus on emergency care, special needs dentistry, and treating medically complex patients. She completed her externship in Arizona, where she provided essential dental care to the Navajo tribe.
Dr. Ward completed her undergraduate studies at Christopher Newport University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, & Physiological Biology and double minors in Chemistry and Psychology. While at CNU, she graduated magna cum laude and was recognized as a Service Distinction Leader for her work as a hospice volunteer, EVMS volunteer, and through her involvement with the Smiles for Heroes initiative.
As a Williamsburg native and Jamestown High School graduate, Dr. Ward is excited to be back home to serve the community that shaped her. Her passion for the artistic aspects of dentistry fuels her approach to patient care. She finds joy in helping patients feel confident through their smiles while promoting lifelong oral health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ward loves skiing, water tubing, hiking, fishing and spending time with her family and her dog, Daisy.
